Allyship is active, and is the key to creating inclusive workplaces. It is a lifelong process of building and nurturing supportive relationships with underrepresented, marginalized, or discriminated individuals or groups with the aim of advancing inclusion. Active Allyship requires someone who is truly engaged, and prepared to take consistent and meaningful action to ensure their communities are safe and inclusive for all - regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.
